Easter is here!

Amy wrote a letter to the Easter Bunny, asking him to come early because Tristan will be with Carrie on Easter day. Belle got a small basketball hoop...and Tristan got a nerf target shooting set. They are having a blast!

Kid Photos

Amy and I were having a fun discussion...I made a remark that I think Tristan somewhat reminds me of River Phoenix sometimes; certain expressions and such. Anyhow, Amy thinks I'm crazy. This led to a fun photoshoot of the kids. Tristan loves to do "Zoolander-blue steel" type poses...Belle just likes photos of herself!

We had a great weekend! Mark, Kim, Brandon and Brooklyn came to town for band practice, and our band has been working on our own songs. We also have incorporated the fantastic "jamhub" which creates a virtual room for the band to play in and record! After our guests headed home, we decided to take advantage of the perfect weather and head to the Audubon Zoo!

Preparing for Christmas

Tristan was in a Christmas program, shopping is done, and Belle is talking all about "Clause". Apparently, she prefers calling him by his last name. Nana and Papa are coming in from Oregon, so we are excited. Amy and the kids get a good 2 week Christmas break. Doug might get Christmas Eve off...we aren't sure yet... Anyway, Doug was forced to put "cheezy" inflatable decor, and now he doesn't want to deflate them. Christmas is going to be a blast this year. We are all alive, healthy and happy.

TRICK OR TREAT!!!!

We had a blast this year. Carrie came to Franklin to join us for Trick or Treating. The kids were both so cute.
