First Swim of the Season

Tristan had a blast in the "perfect pool" (that is what he told his mom he found today!)and Izzy even got her feet wet and tried on her suit!

Wow!...I can't believe it has already been 4 weeks since Isabelle's arrival. It has been wonderful getting to know this little person that Doug and I created. She is the sweetest baby girl. Tristan is the best big brother anyone could ever ask for. He loves to give her kisses and hold her. We just got internet at home, so I can post more often than when we are in Franklin. I will put some pictures up in a few days.

Pudge

I had my 36 week ultrasound on Thursday. Izzy is already weighing in at 6 lbs. 10 oz. She has a full head of LONG hair. I start going to my doctor every week now, and my due date is less than one month away! I am excited and nervous all at once. I will be staying home and nesting for the next couple of weeks. Wish us luck!

On the way to stay-at-home motherhood

For those of you who haven't heard, my last day of work will be Wednesday, March 19.
I plan to rest for the couple of weeks before my due date, provided Isabelle doesn't decide to make an early appearance. Tristan will continue in daycare through April, then he will stay home with me and Isabelle until he starts Pre-K in August. I am delighted with our decision and cannot wait to be a full-time mom to Tristan and Isabelle. Say some prayers for us...this will be quite an adjustment, but we know we can do it!

Here are some pictures of Isabelle from about 4 weeks ago, when we had the 3D ultra sound. She kept her arm in front of her face almost the whole time and she slept through the whole thing, too....She is gonna be a stinker!
